The role earned Selleck another Emmy nomination and he also served as the executive producer of the show. Selleck plays a police commissioner who is part of the multigenerational family of officers in Blue Bloods. The drama premiered on CBS in the year 2010 and was later renewed. He was a part of the well-known Three Men and a Baby together with Ted Danson and Steve Guttenberg which became the top-grossing feature.
