Dolly Parton escaped the struggles in her early life thanks to her inventive and innovative imagination. Prior to learning how to read and write Dolly Parton had already begun to compose her own songs. The first time she picked up a guitar was at age 8 and began singing on the Knoxville Tenn radio station at age 11. The first album she recorded was within the same calendar year with Gold Band Records, a small independent label. While still in highschool She made her mark locally but dreamed about an even bigger stage. The singer moved to Nashville the day after graduating in 1964. Dumb Blonde, Something Fishy and Dumb Blonde both charted on Monument Records in 1967. Porter Wagoner's syndicated TV show required an additional singer around the time. Parton began her career in the year 1967 and signed by RCA Records by 1968, and became a member of the Grand Ole Opry. She left Wagoner's show, however, in 1974 due to her solo albums like Joshua Coat Of Many Colors and Jolene beat out their collaborative albums. Parton, after the split of their collaboration with Wagoner she wrote the song"I'll Always Be Loved" by You and saw it climb to the top spot at No. The first time in 1974.
